Reduce • Reuse • ReStore

Habitat for Humanity Lake County offers everyone the opportunity to Reduce the amount of waste that enters the landfill, to Reuse gently used home furnishings, and to ReStore the community around us.  Donate or purchase new and used building materials.  Our 24,000 square-foot ReStore accepts donations of good-quality new and used building and household materials.  We sell tons of great stuff at great prices to raise funds to support our home building program with families in need.

Why the ReStore?

  • When you donate and shop at the ReStore, everybody wins.
  • As a donor you receive a tax deduction, as a customer you will find great bargains, and as a volunteer you will have a great time, help out Habitat for Humanity, and get a great hands on experience working with our families and previewing our great inventory.
  • Nationwide, landfills are spared tons of waste every year.  ReStores are Mother Nature's ultimate reuse and recycling centers.
  • Our Habitat Families learn about building products while completing their sweat equity hours here at our ReStore.
  • Our affiliate, Habitat for Humanity Lake County, receives the proceeds from the ReStore, which in turn help fund affordable housing for families right here in Lake County.
